When Coaching: Get Your Kids to Explain The Drill Back To You Before Starting

It's important for your children to discover and work things out on their own. It's also important to make sure they understand instructions and drills correctly.

That is why you must always get your young cricketer to explain the drill, exercise or game, back to you before you start.

As you can see in this example they often won't get it right or will not have understood it completely, which is what makes it so valuable to have them run through it and explain it back.

This example is out of the Fundamentals Course inside Home Coach Cricket and is specifically for the Outdoor Obstacle Course to Teach The Fundamental Movements...

Remember - getting these fundamental skills developed before you focus on running in to bowl fast and playing cover drives will always ensure those later skills are developed so much faster.
