I have a quick message for you about the importance of developing the fundamentals.

These basics are all linked and will make a massive difference to your child's cricketing ability later on!

In fact, these things will make a difference to whatever sport your kids play.

Hand-eye coordination and visual schools go hand in hand with the previous two fundamentals that we spoke about. Obviously watching the ball and catching the ball. If you don't have good hand-eye coordination, you're not gonna be able to catch the ball. So, and obviously, visual skills is part of watching the ball.

So everything that we are going through here as all interlinked, and that's why it's really important that we start with these things first before you start worrying about technique on, how they're gonna hit the ball, or how they're gonna run in and bowl fast.

You've gotta develop these things first because it creates that solid foundation where all those other things will be able to develop from.

So it's really important that you focus on getting these fundamental right with your children before you jump ahead and start trying to teach 'em how to hit the ball out the ground and run in and bowl really quickly.

Those things will develop much quicker if you get these fundamentals right. And the bonus to getting these, all these fundamentals right, and focusing on them and practicing them with your kids, is that it's gonna benefit them in all the sport that they play, not only in cricket.
